Bio

Julián “Mex” Ledesma was born in Argentina in 1977 and raised in Mexico where he lived until the age of 19.  There he began his university studies in architecture.


In 1997 he returned to his Argentina and studied Cinematography at ENERC (Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica).


Since 2000 he has worked as a DP in film, tv and commercials with renowned directors such as Gael García Bernal, Fernando Trueba, Victoria Galardi, Martin Piroyanksy, Vldimir Durán, Lucía Puenzo, etc.


Julián was nominated by the Argentine Film Academy as Best Director of Photography for Pensé que iba a haber fiesta and Voley.
